..

This Month's Hot Topic:

ELECTION2012 - Faith in Your Community

In this months E-news we focus on the launch of the new Evangelical Alliance Scotland and CARE campaign to encourage more Christians to become elected councillors in the 2012 local elections. Election2012 - Faith in Your Community, due to be launched in the New Year, is a campaign aimed at resourcing anyone feeling God's prompting into local politics.Election2012

Have you ever considered that becoming a local councillor is one opportunity of making a vital contribution in your community, impacting key local decisions with Christian values and helping to set the priorities for your local area? We are all called as Christians to impact and transform our local communities and neighbourhoods with the love of Christ. Becoming a local councillor could be a really practical way for you to fulfil this calling.

Perhaps you have thought about it, but didn't know how to get started. Election2012 will provide you with all the encouragement, advice, and information to help you stand in 2012.

In this E-news we provide you with key interviews of Christian local councillors who are actively transforming their communities with the love of Christ. The Podcast and articles provide a small glimpse into their lives and calling. We hope you will be encouraged and enthused by reading about their stories.
