There's a big problem. A generation of young people who grew
up in church have gone missing. At some point in their 20s, their faith has
unravelled. They have become disillusioned with church; they have found it
wanting when dealing with some of life's biggest issues – the divorce, the
doubt, the debt, the depression. Research shows that in just two decades, the
number of 20-somethings attending church has halved. At the Evangelical
Alliance, we couldn't just sit back and let that happen. So we launched threads – a collective of young people exploring faith as it relates to real life; and
passionate about rekindling a vibrant faith among this generation.
By supporting threads, you enable us to reach out to those young people who might be far
away from church: through online community and through real-life events.
Supporting threads is
easy. For as little as £3 a month, you play
your part in ensuring this generation is no longer missing. Thank you.
