Ian Collinge

Ian Collinge is a musician, ethnodoxologist and intercultural worship trainer with mission organisation WEC International. He is based in Leeds but is an adjunct tutor at All Nations Christian College and board member of the Global Consultation on Arts and Music in Missions. He and his family spent several years in Asia, where Ian learned various Asian instruments, discovering that each culture brings unique God-given insights and textures to Christian worship. In 2008, Ian and his wife founded Arts Release, the arts ministry of WEC, and in 2012, the Resonance Band, who help churches introduce culturally diverse songs.

The voice of tomorrow’s church today

4 August 2022Here, Jesus-followers of all ethnicities don’t have to ‘fit in’ and leave their heritage at the door. This is a space where they know they are “no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people” (Ephesians 2:19). They are accepted as equals (Galatians 3:28).
