Juliette works as a Policy and Public Affairs Officer at Christians Against Poverty (CAP), a Christian organisation that provides free debt help and local community groups across the UK. She has a background in global poverty reduction, having developed insight from a degree in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response, and experience working for Practical Action, The St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP), and The Overseas Development Institute (ODI). She now uses this knowledge to support CAP’s vision to see lives transformed, thriving churches, and an end to UK poverty.

Poverty in the UK: what the church can do now

This is 22 per cent of the UK population, equivalent to 15 people on an average double-decker bus being in a financially vulnerable position.
