God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, give to each of your children spiritual wisdom and insight so that we might grow in our knowledge of you and your ways.

Ephesians 1:15-23

Thursday, 10 October 2019

Being a political leader, or a leader of any description, can be tough, with the stresses and strains of trying to do right by people amid public scrutiny undoubtedly hammering their minds.

Our Father in heaven tells us what to think about in order to help ourselves remain in perfect peace: “...whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just…”

Let us pray today that He continues to extend His grace to our political leaders, piercing through their thoughts with His own so that they, too, can enjoy His peace and make decisions according to His will.
