This new small group resource is designed to help churches ask the question, 'what kind of church changes a nation?'

As the church of Christ in the UK, are we being faithful to our calling? In our values and our praxis, are we being who we are called to be and doing what God has called us to do? Is it possible that we have lost sight of who we are and what we have been called to do?

What kind of church? explores these questions, looking at identity, values and praxis to find out whether the church in the UK is fulfilling our role to be good news in society. Over six sessions the resource asks us to see what has changed around us and to ask how the church can respond. Each session has accompanying films which explore the themes in more detail.

If you’re not a member of the Evangelical Alliance you can download a sample of the first two sessions for free, or become a member to access the full resource.

The small group resource builds on a report published by the Evangelical Alliance Scotland in 2015.

The What kind of church? resource is part of the Evangelical Alliance’s work to equip the church in the UK. You can support the work for as little as £3 a month by becoming a member of the Evangelical Alliance. Join us today as together we make Jesus known.
