Prayers for the week of 29 July 2019

Thank God for the appointment of Gavin Calver as the incoming CEO of the Evangelical Alliance. Pray for Gavin and his family as they prepare for this new season of service to the church in the UK.

Thank God for the leadership of Steve Clifford, outgoing general director of the Evangelical Alliance. Pray for Steve and his wife Ann as they get ready for their next steps at the end of the year.

Thank God for the board and leadership team of the Evangelical Alliance. Pray that they would be wise and discerning as they navigate this season of change for the organisation.


Prayers for the week of 22 July 2019

Thank God for the freedom to live and speak for Jesus in the UK. Pray for those Evangelical Alliance staff and members who work hard to protect our freedoms, that they would find favour in the corridors of powers.

Thank God for the resources that we have to help us share Jesus with our friends and family. Pray for the Simply Eat book and tour which is equipping people to use sharing food as an opportunity to share their faith.

Thank God for the local church across the UK. Pray that we would be united in Jesus and working together to see our communities transformed and people come to know Jesus for themselves.


Prayers for the week of 15 July 2019

Thank God for the Evangelical Alliance mission team. Pray that they work they do to support and equip in the church to confidently share Jesus will help shape and change our society.

Thank God for the Evangelical Alliance unity team. Pray that they will continue to help build relationships across the UK church, promoting ethnic diversity and celebrating Christian unity.

Thank God for the Evangelical Alliance advocacy team. Pray that as they work on public policy and speak to those in power they would have wisdom and find favour with those that they speak to.


Prayers for the week of 8 July 2019

Thank God for the board and leadership team of the Evangelical Alliance. Pray for them this week as they continue the search for a new chief executive.

Thank God for the buildings and facilities used by Evangelical Alliance staff in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. Pray that God would provide all that is needed to maintain these at the level required for the work that needs to be done.

Thank God for all our members and key supporters who generously give to vision of the Evangelical Alliance - that together we are making Jesus known.
