Each week we round up the ways that you can be praying for the Evangelical Alliance and the work that we’re doing to serve the church in the UK. #### Prayers for the week of 11 February 2019 #### Prayers during August 2020 ### Please pray for the Evangelical Alliance team in Scotland who will travel to Stornoway this week. Pray for safe travels and a great time meeting with local churches and Christians in Stornoway. Pray for Beth's story which is being shared by our Great Commission initiative this week. Pray that Beth's testimony of God's work in her life will encourage Christians to share the good news of Jesus with confidence. Please pray for the Above and Beyond conference taking place in May with early bird ticket sales ending this week. Pray that those who will benefit from attending the conference will hear about it and sign up. ### “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” John 4:35 Lord, we thank you for the power of the gospel. We thank you for the good news of salvation, forgiveness, hope and a new start. We give thanks for all those who have encountered you during lockdown, those who met you for the first time and others whose faiths have been reignited. Lord, grant us boldness, grace and love. Enable us to be examples of your good news and help us to point others to Jesus the light of the world. As we move into a new season may many more discover your love for them for the first time. Come Holy Spirit we pray.
